You know what I say, “There ARE no rules to makeup!”, that’s why even though this Diva’s wearing bold lips AND bold lids, it somehow doesn’t look too overpowering. The reason why is because I opted to play down the rest of the face using minimum color on the cheeks and face as far as blush, highlighting and contouring. Rather, I created a flawlass face using my FAV liquid foundation, Revlon ColorStay, created depth with some lighter shades using concealer, and dusted on some translucent powder and the tiniest amount of mineral pressed powder (LA Colors brand, review coming soon).
Instead of intensely lining her lips, I glossed on a semi-pigmented, high shine lipcolor, 32 Color Lip Palette, (ebay purchase) onto her lips. The fact that the shape that her eyeshadows have, the cut crease, outer- V, sharp top liner, and Divaliscious lashes slightly goes against the effortless application of the lip color, actually works for the entire look.
