PSC Lip Whips (Swatches)!! Intense Color with Mega Shine

17 Sep

PSC Lip Whips: Pigmented lipgloss, with long lasting shine. Comes in a jarred container or as a pre-selected or custom 4-5 color palette. Some shades have longer wear than others. Some shades are more pigmented than others. You will need to reapply, but not often. Can be a stand alone lip color, but to prolong the wear, I suggest lining and filling in your lips with a similar colored lip liner. Now check out these dope shades!

All pics are of the lip colors without lip liner. True to tone.

(Above) PSC Lip Whip in Bam Bam: An intensely pigmented cranberry color with fuschia shimmer/ undertones.

PSC Lip Whip in “Mystic”: A “Welch’s” Grape colored lip color. Mega shine and opaque.

PSC Lip Whip in “Bubble Gum Minaj”: A sweet, deep rose pink with shimmer/ iridescent. Not as opaque as the other shades, but is a true colored lipgloss.

PSC Lip Whip in “Caramelize”: A deep, golden bronze, high shimmer lip color. Opaque.

PSC Lip Whip in “Sophia”: A true, babydoll pink color. Ultra moisturizing and opaque.

PSC Lip Whip in “Dulce De Leche”: A beige colored, nude lip color. Opaque and ultra glossy.

PSC Lip Whip in “Hush”: OOOHH LA LA!! A rich lavender lip color. Opaque and super glossy. (My FAV!)

PSC Lip Whip in “What A Doll”: A mid-toned, rich “Barbie” pink lip color. Opaque and ultra glossy.

PSC Lip Whip in “Kim Da Vixen”: Oh yes, this is truly a dope lip color. The perfectly pinched, pale coral lip color. Ultra glossy with an opaque coverage.

One last look at all the PSC Lip Whips!

Check out my video/ demo on these fantastic lip colors!

Double Take: 2012 VMA Rhianna’s Red Carpet Look (Rock Lips 2 Ways)

10 Sep

Image

There are very little “misses” when it comes to Island beauty Rhianna’s makeup choices. This classic red lip and lush lashes plays up the singer’s unique features flawlessly. Little moderations have been made to modernize this “pin up” inspired look as well, so I took the liberty of making my own little tweak to make it my own.

To start, I “closed off” the eyes by tight-lining my upper and lower waterline using a black khol pencil instead of going for the wide-eyed effect with using white or cream eyeliner. Secondly, I opted for a cranberry toned, glossy lip color instead of the matte true red or red orange shade seen worn by Rhianna.

Image

Either way, I wanted to stay true to the spirit of this look and kept the flawless, glowy skin, shimmery, golden tinted lids, bold liner/ lashes and passionate pout. Check out how I rocked out this look!

BeautyMint.com (Giveaway and Info)

1 Mar

HEY DIVAS!!! I first heard about Beauty Mint through a site called Mylikes.com. My Likes is a great site for people who already make videos focused on specific interests like hair, makeup, fashion, beauty, etc. and give them an opportunity to make some extra money for making those videos. You get paid to do something you already do! Feature products that you’re interested in or already love for money! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not lots and lots of money, but it’s a fantastic incentive nonetheless.

Beauty is something you already KNOW I’m into, but I have yet to really delve into, and divulge to you my skin care regime. That’s because, up until recently, I really didn’t have one! I was interested in Beauty Mint because I love me some Jessica Simpson (I don’t care what y’all say, she’s adorable and her shoes are the BIZNESS!!!), and I’m always curious about full lines of comprehensive/ complete skin care products.

I received my BeuatyMint package, and I was utterly amazed at the abundance of products that came packed in that adorable box. I was really overwhelmed. Beat that Face GIRL! Diva Double Take: Soft, Shimmery Silver Eyes/ Nude Lips

29 Feb

Inspiration, Jennifer Hudson

Artist, Lead Vocalist "Kool's Bazaar" Naz The Anti Star

I took a slightly different approach with this rendition. Instead of the cool silver lids, and warm fleshy lips and cheeks that Jennifer Hudson rocked on the red carpet, I opted to bring more warmth on the eyes by introducing peachy, shimmers into the crease and lower lash line. Rich, charcoal gray shadows were applied into the crease to further define the area, but is blended out to create a diffused transition into the upper brow bone area. I soften the black liner on the upper and lower lash line to give a more “smokey” effect using a precision, crease brush.

For the face, I lightly dusted a high sheen, highlighter onto the high planes and the apples of her cheeks. I kept the rest of her face mostly low sheen, but slightly contoured her face using a warm, matte bronzing powder to create shape and definition.

The lips were dressed with an opaque, super glossy, pale brown color and a deep cocoa pencil created dimension to her pout.

Her lippys are provided by M.A.C. Cosmetic’s Glitter and Ice Collection, “Winter Cool” http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/7561/19178/Iced-Delights-Lip-BagWintercool/index.tmpl

NYX Matte Bronzers

29 Feb

DIVAS!!!!!!! NYX Cosmetics has some fantastic new matte-themed products, and I just had to get my hands on them!
These matte bronzers are absolutely fabulous and multi-useful, might I add.

Although most of the shades they have available have a slight red undertone, these products can be used as a foundation setting powder as well, for women/ men of richer skintones.

The price points are what most of you guys may be accustomed to when it comes to this line; affordable and superior quality (http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/products/face/bronzers/matte-bronzer retails $9.00)
The Matte Bronzer line comes in 5 shades; Light, Deep, Medium, Dark Tan and Deep Tan. NYX also debut with their Illuminating Bronzers for those looking for a more “traditional” bronzing experience!

Check out these links!

Weave (Wig) Files: RPG Show Yaky 16″ Wig

6 Dec

Hey DIVAS!!!

So I know that this is a huge leap for you to see me actually wearing and reviewing a lace wig! I’ve worn a cpl in my day, some good, mostly bad. Some a couple times, some ONCE! Now if you’re anything like me, you hear “Lacefront” and you instantly cringe. From the “Oh-So-Noticable (Un)Natural Hairlines” to the gluing nightmares…ooh, I always see the worst case scenerio in my head. Now don’t get me wrong, there are some fly Divas out there that rock the SH!T out of some lace wigs, BUT unfortunately they are the minority in this weave game. HAHA! Shout out to April (muffinsismylover/YouTube) and Ms. Woods on Youtube because they can slap on a lace wig and make it look flawless hone with NO PROBLEM!!

Ahem, so when RPG Show Wigs reached out to me to review one of their wigs, I was extremely honored but really really REALLY scared. I quickly did my research and looked up thousands (slightly exaggerated) of videos from all kinds of beautiful sisters wearing and reviewing some gorgeous wigs from this company. Not everyone is going to love everything that a company makes or does, so I wasn’t surprise by some negative feedback. I was, however, surprise by the amount of positive feedback for a company that makes full and partial lace wigs, human hair, at such a low price. Low budget, no it’s not honey!

So this is what I recieved: http://sales.rpgshow.com/glueless-cap-human-hair-wig-straight-16-els118s-p-4348.html. The only difference between this one provided in the link, and the actual wig that I reviewed is that the wig I reviewed was a full lace wig, and not glueless. AHHHH, it gave me the heeby geebies Divas. Check out my full review, and cut and styling video to see what I REALLY thought of this wig.

*Note: This wig did not have bleach knots, but there are plenty of videos on YouTube that show you how to bleach your own knots should you desire it.

Fall Trend: Sexy Print, Form Fitting dress w/ Nude Pumps & Funky, Chunky Accessories

4 Oct

Dress: H & M

Pumps: Chinese Laundry

Black Top: Victoria Secrets (strapless bra)

Bangles: (purchased years ago, different places)

Earrings (two pair): Beauty 4 U (green, oval shaped, crackled earrings), Forever 21 (long, gold, leaf accented, dangles)

So this is what I decided to “throw” on for my “FIRST TIME IN A LONG WHILE GOING OUT” outfit. I was definitely inspired by the fall trends of big, animal prints and chunky accessories. You can either accessorize by throwing on a wide belt, thick bangles, chunky/ funky neck piece or large geometric or organically shaped earrings. Remember don’t over-accesorize! Less is definitely more! I chose three chunky bangles; two black and one ombre cream and gold. All three bangles have different sizes and finishes (from shiny, semi-glossy, to matte) but the choice of allow one of the three bangles to bring in the “pop” of color still balances the look.

With such a bold print it’s easy to want to go the other way and be a little more conservative with your accessorizing. Don’t be deterred. It’s all about the hue choices that would take a look from abstract to mismatch. For this look I stuck with one formula; add a pop of contrast with greens, bronzes and golds. It will give you a pop of color, without being too electric…unless that’s what you like 😉

Inspired by these trends and trendsetters:

Jessica White, model

Though I’m not a fan and is not often inspired by the beautiful model’s fashion choice, it’s something about a sexy animal print, hugging a womanly shape that’s always inspiring. Sure, I would’ve made different shoe and clutch choices but as a whole, she’s got the look.

Kim Kardashian, reality tv star Keeping Up with the Kardashians

Shapely Kim K knows how to work form fitting dresses baby! With more curves than a bottle of Coke and a super plunging, sweetheart neckline, she’s spot on for using very minimum accessories. I mean, what more do you need to set something like this off?!

Khloe and Kim Kardashian

These chicas accesorized these fits in different ways that both anchored this look conservatively, yet made it fashion forward and super sexy; tights and belts! Both ladies rocked solid, black, opaque tights, but Khloe rocked it out with thigh high boots while Kim wore a wide, patent leather belt and peep toe suede ankle booties. FAB!

Although there’s an overload of prints, you get the general idea. There’s an inspiring, animal print piece that you can take from each of these looks and add to your existing wardrobe. Now unleash the Animal DIVA you have inside and WERK!!! lol

Contouring for the GODS!!! Using Black Opal Cosmetics

3 Oct

Let me tell you something about these friggin foundations…

My curiosity was peeked with these foundations particularly because I was inspired by BisaNation (http://www.youtube.com/user/BisaNation#g/u)  and her foundation routine video, in which she used several products, one of which was Dermablend foundations. For anyone who’s not familiar with Dermablend foundations, really quickly, this is a rich, creamy, ultra pigmented foundation, mostly packaged in a white jar. The consistency is very thick and is mostly used in the coverage of hyper-pigmentation in skin and scar coverage. It’s a heavy-duty, cream foundation y’all.  Continue reading

SWATCHES!! E.L.F. 100 Piece Eyeshadow Palette/

22 Aug

swatches of the blue row

swatches were obtain using only a slightly damp brush. No base, no primer

HEY DIVAS!!

So I decided to show a few swatches of a couple of my E.L.F. palettes just to show you the AWESOME pigmentation and color pay off you can get with this product line. For a fraction of the costs of higher priced, similar cosmetics, it’s perfect for a beginner or pro, for special occasions of EVERY DAY WEAR!

Pros:

Price point is unbeatable!

It’s a reputable, well known cosmetics line with a huge customer base, so you can get a lot of feedback from reviews alone.

It’s visable in both drug stores, as well as online and in some cases department/ retail stores as well.

Color payoff is incredible.

Most palettes give you a variety of matte, pearl and shimmer shades!

Cons:

You don’t have an opportunity to “test” or “swatch” the product prior to purchase

Some shades come off a little chalky (which could be easily resolved using mixing mediums or different bases)

Some shades are not as “powerful” as others.

As always I encourage you to weigh out your options, do your research and shop wisely Divas!

xoxo Chrissy

Get the look: Lala Vasquez Inspired Look

16 Aug

Hey Divas!!

So I did a google search of Lala Vasquez makeup because I’ve always been inspired by the carefree yet high maintenance look she always rocks in general; her smokey eyes always looks effortless, yet polished, and when she does a more extreme look, it still has a toned down elegance that is to DIE FOR! I decided to do a look inspired by this look (see below);

Products Used:

(lips)
NYX lip liner “Purple Rain”
NYX Black Label Lipstick “Beige”
MakeUp by Sparkle lipgloss “Nearly Naked”

I absolutely love this look. There’s a lot of warmth all over her face, from the rich berry toned lips, to the burnt orange and brown shades applied to her crease areas and lower lashline of her eyes, to even the subtle hint of flushness to her cheeks. Then the artist brought in the cool tones of a icy silver and forest green on her lid, which makes her green eyes pop! To further glamify this look, the artist incorporated lush, full lashes; icing on the cake!

I later decided to re-do this look, using different products, and “upping the Glam” by choosing both lighter and darker, yet equally bolder colors. See below! Continue reading

#3 120 Palette

Oh my goodness! Look at this friggin palette! The shades found in this palette are absolutely stunning; both wearable with major dramatic potential! As you can see, this palette contains easy autumn and spring colors, high shine, super shimmery, and SUPER PIGMENTED!

I received this palette back at the end of January of this year, and as soon as I swiped a couple shades on my fingertips,  just to feel the consistency, and check out the color pay off, I’ve been using this palette on my clients STAT! One way or another, either as the entire eye look, an accent color, or a highlight color, I have been using this palette everyday, since the day that I received it.

I already own one of the more popular 120 palettes, also known as the second version of the 120 palette (click here) containing mostly bright colors, both matte and shimmery. This palette, however, is the third version available on this site and as you can see, this lends more towards a wider demographic of makeup wearers, professionals and enthusiasts alike. The colors are not as shocking or intimidating for the more tamed makeup wearers, so I would consider this quite a universal palette, to say the least. A++

I also received a red, shimmer-toned cream liner offered on this site. The color is true-to-tone, which a biggie for me, especially if you use it for its intended use; as a cream eyeliner. Admittedly, I rarely use these types of products as a liner, rather, I gear more towards these products as an eyeshadow, cream base.  The downfall with using most cream liners as an eyeshadow base, though, is that it tends to dry quickly, and is hard to blend completely because of this. Also, because it may dry fast, it does nothing to help the eyeshadow colors stick to the lid. To alleviate these issues, I simply add some type of siliconebased mixing medium to sustain the creamy texture. With this particular cream eyeshadow, I didn’t find that problem at all. It blended beautifully, held on the creamy texture a little longer, and still gave the “no budge, creaseless” effect that we all can appreciate.  A++

So you already know that I am NOT disappointed in the products, let’s talk more about the price points, packaging, labeling and shipping of these products.

Pricing: Make no doubt about it, just by navigating this site, you’ll see a trend on their prices; they’re super low! The pricing for their eyeshadow, blush and concealer palettes are not so unlike the prices you may find on similar websites like Coastal Scents, BH Cosmetics, or Stars Makeup Haven, give or take a couple bucks. You’ll also see that they offer a lot more than just makeup, they have a growing catalogueof cosmetics tools as well. Their site is growing with more products, so it’s only a matter of time  before they become a great online store for virtually all your beauty needs! A

Packaging/ Labeling: Both products came packaged tightly in card-board parcel, surrounded by a generous layer of large bubble wrapping. The parcel was prominently labeled “Fragile” so on the outside, every precaution has been made to insure the package would be delivered as safely as possible. The products themselves were covered in their own individual boxes, sleek, black and professional. Each individual boxes/ packages indicated the name of the products as well as the full ingredients of each products so that the consumer is well aware of the product and what it contains. After retrieving the products themselves from the packages, to my pleasant surprise I saw that extra care was taken in preserving the actual cosmetics. The two layers of the 120 palette were tightly sealed under plastic wrapping. After removing the cap from the gel liner, a safety seal was on top of the product, protecting the cream gel liner from drying out between manufacturing and shipping. Excellent! A+++

Shipping: Because I received these products from the company for free, they were shipped to me at the lowest shipping rate. The company is based out of China, and with customs, and the holiday, it slowed down the shipping of these products significantly! It took about a month for me to receive the products since it was sent in mid December! I spoke with Crystal, the main customer service rep, and my main contact with the company and she insured me that their company has many shipping options with delivery days as little as 7 business days and as much at 28 business days! That’s pretty cool being as that this company is based overseas.  Because I haven’t experienced any of their alternate shipping options, I can’t adequately rate this part. Sorry folks!

Out of all the good points that I like about this company, so far, and their products, I must say, there are some bad points that I’m inclined to share as well.

Knock-offs!: Although I love the selection and prices of the individual brushes they offer, I cringe at the knock off MAC brush sets that is found on this site as well. Trust me, these brushes are pretty decent(low, I got me a couple of these 7 piece brush sets from ebay a time or two before, both with and without the fake tag!), so if they just sell those sets w/o the name branded on it, I would dig it more. Not knockin’ anyone’s hustle, just sayin’, knock it off with the knockoff ish.

Well there you have it my beautiful people! The whole sha-bang! My review of ‘s #3 120 palette and their # cream liner. Hope you find this review thorough, and it peeks your curiosity about this company and their products.

Happy shopping Divas!

Hey Guys! SO I’ve been a little busy bee this holiday season. I’ve been picking up a few little goodies that I’ve either always been curious about, I’d recieve questions on or I’ve just been greedy and my eyes became (almost) bigger than my wallet. Thank GOD for my Divas in my city. I’ve been workin’ my little tale off beating faces and collecting cash for my untreated condition; I’m a TRUE Makeup-holic!! Nothing satisfies my addiction more, when it comes to new and fresh products, than GREAT DEALS!! I hate spending my hard earned money on over-hyped products JUST to feel like at the end, “Damn, I wasted my damn money!” Ugh. Well the bright side of most of my Buyer’s Remorse purchases is that, in most cases, AT LEAST I can return the products.

Enough blabbing Divas. Time to move on to my GOODIES!! First off, let me just say, I will have a couple separate videos featuring a lot of the products listed below.  More than likely, you’ll just see me feature these products in my upcoming makeup tutorials. I may not do a video review of all of them, but don’t worry, you will get my opinions on each of these fierce, fab, frugal finds! See who makes the grade! Check ’em out!

These are in no particular order of fabulousness, but in an effort to maintain some kind of order, let’s start with the FACE!!

Femme Couture Mineral Effects Baked Bronzer “Twice Baked”. Not so unlike M.A.C.’s MSF bronzers, truly! I love, love, love this bronzer!!! Beautiful color pay off, gorgeous sheen, wonderful staying power and because it’s mineral based, it’s really good for your skin. I personally sheer some of this bad boy all over my face after I apply a great tinted moisturizer loaded w/ SPF for a natural glow! So beautiful! And it retails for about $7.99 at Sally’s Beauty Supply (prices may very depending on city, state, sales taxes) A++ All the WAY!

Femme Couture Mineral Effects Face Primer: Super creamy! It almost feels like whipped marshmellows. It has a very faint scent to it, not overpowering or off putting at all. Does it do the job? Jury’s still out on that one. Although it feels wonderful on my skin, I’ve tried it on a few of my clients, but unfortunately I haven’t encountered any clients with particularly uneven surfaces to test out its “smoothing” effect. I’ll get back to you on that one. For me, it was a good investment for sure. My client’s skin looks even more flawless, and on a personal note, my makeup glided on effortlessly! Retails for about $12 at Sally’s Beauty Supply (prices may very depending on city, state, sales taxes) I’ll give it an A

Hard Candy’s mineral baked bronzer: Its ah-ight, but it ain’t ALL-LAT! LOL! It was only 6 bucks at Wal-Mart (prices may very depending on city, state, sales taxes), kind of an impulse buy. Not a total bust. It does have a gorgeous sheen to it. My only real complaint is that sheen can be a little over powering if you don’t use it in moderation. I give it a strong B.

Femme Couture Mineral Effects Baked Bronzer “Beach Girl” (matte) LOVE IT~~ A total comp for any of the M.A.C. MSF matte powders! My only complaint for this line, specifically for their pressed powders/ bronzers is that their shade selection is very scarce. Sigh. A

Ulta Minerals Bronzer “Bronze Glow”: I’m in bronzer heaven with this one! Just right; the right amount of sheen, the right amount of matte-ness and the right amount of color pay-off. I forget the price on this one, but check out your local Ulta Store or their website for that. A+

Maybeline FIT line liquid foundation and concealer: Surprisengly (but not really) I REALLY lucked out with this one!!! I really like this line. It’s advertised to sort of enhance and imitate the look of skin! Yay, makeup that doesn’t look like makeup; something I’m sure a lot of my Divas out there could appreciate right? RIGHT!! Buildable coverage? Yes! The consistency is a little off putting, it feels “thin” and really liquidy, but it actually works to its benifit. The concealer is the BOMB! One thing I like about this line is they sort of give you customizable shade numbers to match up to create a flawless face. Example, if your foundation is a 320 or 355, then the concealer you’re matched up with is a 30. If you’re a 220 or 230, your concealer is a 20. Easy as pie! (prices may very depending on city, state, sales taxes) I picked these bad boys up from my local Walgreens Drug Store and caught an awesome sale!

One con I’d be re-missed to not mention, throughout the day the foundation does sort of change color, as in deepen in shade as it “settles” into your skin. This may help you better when it comes to finding your perfect shade. Try a shade slightly lighter than your own, and you should be good. B+

Now on to the LIPS!

Black Radiance Prismatic Color lipglosses (l to r)”Diva Deluxe & Posh Plum”: OH MY GORGEOUS GOD!! Two words; THEEE BOMB!! Love these glosses. Pure color, pure shine…only like 3 bucks! Can’t beat that ish with a bat! A+++++++

The Maximum MAX lipgloss (Beauty Supply Store Find): Okay, this was totally an impulse buy. This is obviously cheaper or generic M.A.C. lipglass replica. Okay, okay, I get that. But hey, I don’t work for M.A.C., so I don’t care whose name is on the bottle, it’s what’s INSIDE that counts. For only $1.99 and this color pay-off, I came off on top with this one. The colors go on smooth, it has a pleasant sweet scent to it and the shade selection is quite impressive. I’m gaga over that purple gloss. SOOOO PRETTY! The only real con with these glosses is that they don’t have any shade names or numbers. Sigh. For that, I would give them an A-

Black Radiance Liquid Lip Color (l to r) “Crystal Rose, Ginger Spice, Bronze Elegance, Luscious Pink”: As you can see, the color pay off is excellent! LOVE THEM! The only con is that they do require quite a bit reapplying. I would totally use these for photo shoots because the colors are so vibrant and retouching between takes is expected, BUT I rarely grab these glosses for everyday wear. These glosses run about $3-$4 (prices may very depending on city, state, sales taxes) B+/ A-

MakeUp by Sparkle  “Dripping Wet” Holiday Collection Mini Lip Glazes (l to r) “Patty Cakes, Peep Show, Cat Call”: Really, really pretty, barely-there, sheer glosses. Sweet, sugar cookie scent and taste. YUM! A good reference point would be M.A.C.’s lipglasses. A+

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss (l to r) “Pink Pop, Pearl Plum, Nude Lustre, Lilac Pastelle, Coral Reef” : I LOVE THESE GLOSSES!! So in love with this beautiful coral color, just dying over here with that lavender gloss, and the baby pink gloss is giving me LIFE!!  These glosses retail for about $8 a piece (prices may very depending on city, state, sales taxes). The consistency is thick but non-sticky, so you feel secure that no matter how faint or powerful the shade you pick, your lips are going to be glowing chile! A+

Revlon Colorblast Lipgloss  “Hot Pink Rose”: Definitely lives up to its name, it’s a blast of color baby. THAT IS PINK!! LOL! I really like this gloss for its shine and color pay off, but it feels a tad bit “grainy” due to the fine glitters that give this gloss its unique glow. B+

I’ve got my EYE on these finds!

NYX Jumbo Pencils (l to r) “Electric Blue, Purple Velvet and Rocky Mountain Green”: I love me some NYX Jumbo Pencils, and these are some of the newest shades that they offer. I picked these up from Ulta and I got them for a pretty decent deal, about $4 each. Only con is, if you’re not familiar with the texture of NYX’s Jumbo Pencils, they’re very creamy and could crease on your lids if you’re not careful. But that’s more on an “Operator’s Error” if this becomes a problem for you. Use in moderation and blend it well. All shades are true-to-tone.  A+++

Look Using LA Splash Passionate Plum (outer half & outer "V" crease area)

LA Splash Cosmetics mineral eyeshadow “Passionate Plum”: OH-EM-GHEE! So pretty! Just look at the picture above…you see that deep passionate plum baby. Nuff said. ULTA ALL DAY!! A++++++++++

LA Splash Splash Proof Sealer eyeshadow sealer/ base: This is EXCELLENT to apply cosmetic glitters, but you can also use this to apply loose shadows and pressed shadows as well. If you do, may I suggest you blend this in WELL and still add a colored cream shadow or base to the lids prior to your shadows. I’ve used this for quite a few looks, and it absolutely does the job! No creases here baby, my lids are sealed! A+++++

LOADS OF LASHES!! (l to r) Amazing Shine Eyelash #38, #600, #01″ and Ardell Runway MUA Collection “Gisele”: No need for review, but FYI, these Amazing Shine lashes are beauty supply store finds and they were ONLY $1.99 EACH!!

Black Radiance Lash Lenthening Mascara: This brush tip is not all too unfamiliar at all. It’s the perfect design to bring out maximum lash potential. For only $3.99 (Prices may vary depending on the city, state and sales taxes), it easily competes with the more expensive brands promising the same thing. The black mascara is SUPER BLACK so my lashes definitely look lush and lovely! A++++

Femme Couture Flawless Touch Eye Primer: Eh, what can I say. I can do with or without it. Not a total bust, it does feel quite lovely on my lids. I fear that the consistancy of this product doesn’t really help with de-creasing your shadows if you have somewhat oily skin, specifically lids. One way to avoid any issues would be to wipe off any access oils or moisturizers that may be on the lid and then apply a really thin layer of this primer on.  Again, I’ve personally had better primers so I wasn’t really blown away with this one. C+

Get Nailed!

So I’m going to get into doing nail looks and tutorials soon and I figure, what’s beautiful nails if they’re not healthy first? No reviews for these products below because I haven’t used them enough yet. But no worries, we will revisit these products to see if they were hit or miss for me.

Healthy nails are STRONG nails. Achieve this w/o acrylics! (clockwise) nail buffer, emory board, nail smoother/ polisher, Beauty Secrets Ridge Filler, Gelous Advance Nail Gel Coat, LA Girl Calcium Nail Builder.
