So it’s obvious that I’m totally I love with Black Radiance as a brand. It’s a drug store brand of cosmetics that really cater to women of color. Score! Not only does Black Radiance currently have an impressive selection of products you can use on your entire face, they have these incredible new high impact color quads that are sure to look fab on anyone!
The look I created I used almost all Black Radiance products but the intensity of the rich cobalt blue from the Vivid Imagination palette definitely is the stand out star of this look. Silky smooth, super pigmented and super blend able, this palette gets high marks all across the board for me!
PSC Lip Whips: Pigmented lipgloss, with long lasting shine. Comes in a jarred container or as a pre-selected or custom 4-5 color palette. Some shades have longer wear than others. Some shades are more pigmented than others. You will need to reapply, but not often. Can be a stand alone lip color, but to prolong the wear, I suggest lining and filling in your lips with a similar colored lip liner. Now check out these dope shades!

There are very little “misses” when it comes to Island beauty Rhianna’s makeup choices. This classic red lip and lush lashes plays up the singer’s unique features flawlessly. Little moderations have been made to modernize this “pin up” inspired look as well, so I took the liberty of making my own little tweak to make it my own.
To start, I “closed off” the eyes by tight-lining my upper and lower waterline using a black khol pencil instead of going for the wide-eyed effect with using white or cream eyeliner. Secondly, I opted for a cranberry toned, glossy lip color instead of the matte true red or red orange shade seen worn by Rhianna.
Either way, I wanted to stay true to the spirit of this look and kept the flawless, glowy skin, shimmery, golden tinted lids, bold liner/ lashes and passionate pout. Check out how I rocked out this look!

Artist, Lead Vocalist "Kool's Bazaar" Naz The Anti Star
I took a slightly different approach with this rendition. Instead of the cool silver lids, and warm fleshy lips and cheeks that Jennifer Hudson rocked on the red carpet, I opted to bring more warmth on the eyes by introducing peachy, shimmers into the crease and lower lash line. Rich, charcoal gray shadows were applied into the crease to further define the area, but is blended out to create a diffused transition into the upper brow bone area. I soften the black liner on the upper and lower lash line to give a more “smokey” effect using a precision, crease brush.
For the face, I lightly dusted a high sheen, highlighter onto the high planes and the apples of her cheeks. I kept the rest of her face mostly low sheen, but slightly contoured her face using a warm, matte bronzing powder to create shape and definition.
The lips were dressed with an opaque, super glossy, pale brown color and a deep cocoa pencil created dimension to her pout.

I don’t need to be too wordy with this post folks. It is what it says it is; a black khol liner. This comes courtesy of NYX’s new Collection Noir line, (ooh, look who’s getting fancy), and let me say, this is an awesome, rich black, heavily pigmented, easy gliding khol pencil. Definitely adding this pencil to my staple products in my MUA (Makeup Artist) Kit.
Retails for about $6.00, which isn’t that bad at all. A little does the trick, but a lot, whew, super sultry, smokey eyes are right in your reach!

DIVAS!!!!!! AHHHHHHH I found my new most-loved concealer (opinion is subject to change, with my fickle-ass, ha!).
And first off, before you even go there…NO I do not work for NYX, I just love their products! No, but seriously, as an MUA I can appreciate different products with different textures and finishes, to satisfy and create different looks for a multitude of skin types/shades.
With that being said, I am rarely satisfied with a one-stop shop type of product that I can use all across the board. As fabulous as NYX HD Concealers are, I can’t let go or part with other brands’ concealer choices altogether.
BUT wait, let me tell you about this ish righ here! THIS ISH RIGHT HERE!!! Fantastic! It’s a high definition formulated, skin correcting product that is as lightweight as it is powerful. Definitely photo friendly! The texture is smooth, heavy duty yet thin, and it sort of “sets” itself once the product is worked into the skin, especially using a cosmetic sponge. I still would suggest you dust on a light, translucent powder just to be extra sure that the product is locked into place.

DIVAS!!! How fabulous are matte lipsticks?? Well, if done right, they can be a dream come true for us trendy chicks. I got my hands on a few of NYX’s Matte Lipsticks, and I must say, NYX still hasn’t dissappointed me.
For my first round of purchases of these lipsticks, I opted to go for the uber-girly route, PINKS, from pale to bold!

This product does boast somewhat of it’s long wear ability, but after about an hour or so, the product does dim and fade a bit, especially through eating and drinking.
DIVAS!!!!!!! NYX Cosmetics has some fantastic new matte-themed products, and I just had to get my hands on them!
These matte bronzers are absolutely fabulous and multi-useful, might I add.
Although most of the shades they have available have a slight red undertone, these products can be used as a foundation setting powder as well, for women/ men of richer skintones.
